Miorita is a residential low rise project situated on Miorita street in Chisinau. It is a three storey building with a commercial ground level and 2 residential levels, as well as an underground parking. Each level has a different configuration which gives the building its shape. Ideally shaped and balanced for cooking, this hand-carved spoon from a pear tree was my attempt to redefine a cookware design using one of the oldest material utilized by mankind, wood. The bowl of the spoon was carved asymmetrically to fit in the corner of a cooking pot. The Handle was shaped with a subtle curve, which makes an ideal shape for a right-handed user.
